The Transportation Committee meets immediately following each Advisory Council meeting and focuses on transportation and livability issues and how this impacts persons aged 60 and older and adults with disabilities.
The mission statement: “To help older adults, and persons with disabilities, to remain living as independently as possible in Ventura County; to promote aging in place; and to advocate for policies and programs that will provide these populations with access to transportation and other peripheral factors affecting livability.”
