In 2018, the Optimal Aging Committee, a subcommittee of the VCAAA’s Advisory Council, established the LEGACY Awards to recognize the contributions of Ventura County residents who dedicate their lives to helping older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers, to live optimally.

We are now accepting nominations for the 2023 LEGACY Awards! 

The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, September 1, 2023. The winners will be announced in November.

   – Dementia Friendly Business/Organization
   – Community Member or Volunteer
