The Housing Committee meets immediately following each Advisory Council meeting and focuses on livability issues and their impact on persons aged 60 and older and adults with disabilities. Livability concerns the factors that contribute to a community’s quality of life.

The mission statement: “To help older adults, and persons with disabilities, to remain living as independently as possible in Ventura County; to promote aging in place; and to advocate for policies and programs that will provide these populations with access to safe and affordable housing and other factors affecting livability.”
